Blink-182 est un groupe américain de pop punk , originaire de Poway, en Californie. Formé en 1992, le groupe se compose actuellement du chanteur et guitariste Tom Delonge, du chanteur et bassiste Mark Hoppus et du batteur Travis Barker.Avec leur batteur d'origine, Scott Raynor, et leur guitariste chanteur d'origine, Tom DeLonge, le groupe enregistre ses trois premiers albums en 1994 (sous le nom de Blink), en 1995 et en 1997. Le deuxième album, ''Dude Ranch'', atteint un succès modéré avec environ un million de ventes à travers le monde mais permet au groupe de se faire connaitre. Après le remplacement de Raynor par Barker à la batterie, Blink-182 sort son troisième album en 1999, ''Enema of the State''. Le single ''All the Small Things'' extrait de cet album atteint alors la première place du Alternative Songs, le classement américain des chansons de rock alternatif les plus diffusées à la radio, et permet au groupe d'atteindre le succès international. L'album d'où est tiré ''All the Small Things'' atteindra les 15 millions d'exemplaires vendus dans le monde ; c'est le record de ventes du groupe. En 2001, le groupe connaît son plus gros succès commercial avec son quatrième album, ''Take Off Your Pants and Jacket'', qui se classe à la première place des ventes d'albums aux États-Unis, au Canada et en Allemagne. Après leur cinquième album éponyme ''Blink-182blink-182'', le groupe se sépare en 2005.Les trois membres du groupe travaillent dès lors sur d'autres projets musicaux, dont Angels & Airwaves fondé par Tom DeLonge et +44 fondé par Mark Hoppus et Travis Barker. Le groupe annonce sa reformation en 2009, et sort en 2011 son sixième album, ''Neighborhoods (album de Blink-182)|Neighborhoods''. En 2012, le groupe devient indépendant à la suite de sa séparation d'avec la maison de disques Interscope Records.
